Mikko Lehto appointed as Business Area Head of Government and Health at Nortal Finland

Finnish Technology Magazine Tietoviikko (Tivi) writes about Mikko Lehto joining us as Business Area Head of Government and Health at Nortal Finland to strengthen our business opportunities in the government sector and healthcare. Mikko begun his new role with us on September 18, 2023 and joins us from CGI, where he has held various business development and leadership positions since 2017, including responsibility for the company’s healthcare and municipal sector expert services.

Previously, he has held various leadership and business development positions at companies like Affecto, Nokia, and Big Data Pump. Lehto brings industry knowledge and strong expertise in the data and analytics business.

Expanding digital public services, utilizing technology and information management, and achieving government program objectives make seamlessly functioning information systems and the availability of citizens’ digital services even more critical across administrative boundaries. Our goal is to enhance our position as a trusted transformation partner in Finland's government and health industry

Our consolidated revenue increased by 45% in 2022 up to 189.8 million euros. To enable further growth, we have significantly increased our workforce in Finland during the first half of the year, hiring nearly 40 new experts. The aim for the remainder of the year is to continue recruiting approximately 20–30 new employees, with a particular focus on experienced data specialists, cloud experts, and software developers.
