Nortal’s partnership with Mastercard breaks new ground in terms of shaping cybersecurity for the financial sector and enables partners to deliver unparalleled value for our clients both within the banking industry and beyond.

Mastercard, the world’s largest payment network, has partnered with Nortal, one of the world’s foremost cyber resilience experts, to form a cyber security partnership, bringing expertise used in defense and the public sector to private financial entities the world over.

The Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) takes effect Jan. 16, 2025. The act’s intent is to add information communication technologies (ICT) requirements to the previously adopted operational resilience regulation for financial services providers in EU member states. It affects financial services organizations that operate within EU member states, including third-party service providers. All companies are required to comply if they provide financial services within EU member states directly or as a third-party service provider. The Nortal-Mastercard DORA combined compliance services bring cyber resilience expertise to the world’s largest payment network.

For more than 20 years, Nortal has tackled highly complex projects to keep leading organizations and nations safe from cyberattacks, with cyber resilience being a critical aspect of that work.
