    Persistent talent shortages pushed Agidens to seek a nearshore extension of their team

    Agidens, a quickly growing company, constantly needs motivated professionals with a heart for technical challenges. Nonetheless, with a shortage of technical profiles in Belgium and the Netherlands, the company had to look for a nearshore team. They wanted a partner who would help them build a reliable back office with good expertise. Such a growth partner will enable them to take on as many projects as they want without the trouble of constantly searching for new talent.

    We conducted an exhaustive preselection process and helped Agidens find and hire experts who were perfectly suited to the roles they needed.     We started our collaboration with Agidens in August 2017, and the partnership is still ongoing. The beginning of the cooperation went very smoothly. The work ethics of our people were very close to Agidens’ corporate values. Moreover, we shared our expertise on how to manage an international team. So fairly quickly the team had all systems in place, good communication and an efficient workflow. Agidens offers advice & engineering, (turnkey) automated solutions and maintenance & service support for the Life Sciences, Food & Beverage, (Fine) Chemicals, Bulk Liquid Storage and Infrastructure markets.

    The Agidens' dedicated team at Nortal is mainly involved in software engineering, electrical design and electrical engineering at present, consisting of 10+ experts:

    • Electrical designers
    • PLC/SCADA engineers
    • Electrical and instrumentation engineers

    Once the initial test succeeded, c-Quilibrium reorganised its development model and entrusted all future projects to our teams.

     

    We have transparent and constant communication via Microsoft Teams. On average, c-Quilibrium’s Belgian team has 4–5 hours of direct communication with our team each day.
