    Optimization of internal collaboration

    The face and voice of the Audi brand, as a wholly owned subsidiary of AUDI AG, Audi Interaction GmbH provides communication services for the premium automotive brand to German retailers, service locations, and specialist departments within the Group. 

    To improve working methods and processes, Audi Interaction aims to use digital tools to enhance project management, knowledge management, and internal communication, with a focus on IT service management.

    Atlassian tools for future-oriented collaboration

    Nortal AG supported Audi Interaction on its path to optimized digital collaboration in the following three areas: 

    • Project management
    • Knowledge management
    • IT service management

    The license-required Atlassian products Jira Software, Jira Service Management, Confluence, and Bitbucket were provided by Nortal AG at the start of the project and tailored to Audi Interactions needs in a collaborative partnership. The goal was to enable Audi Interaction to configure the tools independently, allowing Nortal to continue in an advisory role. 

    During the joint project, the IT service desk’s efficiency was improved through knowledge management that promotes self-service, and strategic cooperation between IT and project coordination was taken to a new level.

    Since the beginning of their collaboration, Nortal and Audi Interaction have developed a strong partnership that enables constructive cooperation on an equal footing. Numerous project goals and milestones have been achieved, and future joint projects have been defined.

    • Introduction and initial configuration of Jira Software, Jira Service Management, and Confluence. 
    • Introduction and configuration of the Insight app as an asset management solution. 
    • Creation of Groovy scripts for the automation of various processes. 
    • Joint configuration of a variety of other apps, such as "Extension for Jira Service Management", "Automation for Jira", and "GDPR for Jira and Confluence". 
    • Implementation of incident, change, order, and end-of-life processes in Jira Service Management. 
    • Design and adaptation of Jira workflows to optimally support the management of projects and other measures. 
    • Consulting on the implementation of GDPR requirements and internal data classifications.
