Tallinn Port launches online ticket solution

We are glad to announce that our customer Tallinn Port managed to meet an important milestone today – launching an ticket e-service for ferries travelling between mainland Estonia and the islands of Muhu/Saaremaa and Hiiumaa. The service was released on September 1st as promised. In a project with high public attention and with short deadlines, the solution has already seen initial success with more than 200 of tickets sold during the first hour after the launch.

Nortal is proud to be working with Tallinn Port on this high-impact project. Congratulations to the project team.

We are already preparing ourselves for the next challenge starting in October 2016. A new smart port detection and automation solution built together with Hansab that will save passengers’ time to board ferries. It will also reduce the volume of required manual operations significantly.

Stay tuned and do not forget to purchase your ticket in advance! – http://www.praamid.ee
