As we celebrate the successful completion of the GovStack Information Mediator Building Block project, we are thrilled to acknowledge the great collaboration with Nortal as a trusted partner in realizing the goals of the GovStack initiative.

Many governments face challenges in achieving expected results and efficiency with their digital transformation programs, often reinventing the wheel rather than reusing existing tools and international best practices. GovStack aims to break down these barriers, aiding governments in creating human-centered digital services that empower individuals and enhance well-being.

As part of a partnership with ITU, Nortal recently concluded the development of a reference implementation of the GovStack IM Building Block. Serving as a crucial gateway and an information channel, this component enables seamless data and service exchange among various GovStack Building Blocks. Its open-API rest-based interfaces ensure interoperability and standards implementation, facilitating efficient information exchange between government entities.

Most notably, the IM Building Block’s seamless connectivity and flexibility facilitate a smooth experience for data consumers and providers, while robust security policies safeguard the integrity and confidentiality of data transmissions.

“We were honored to contribute to the GovStack initiative, aligning with Nortal’s mission to build world-changing solutions with the right technologies. Throughout the project, we achieved crucial milestones, including successfully implementing an automated deployment system for X-road and IM Building Blocks components, ensuring a more efficient and seamless deployment experience, and enhancing the overall functionality of the project,” added Artur Assor, Business Area Director at Nortal on the project.
