Harri Koponen new Chief Commercial Officer for the group and Managing Director of Nortal Oy
Since 1999 Nortal Group has successfully transformed governments, enterprises and health care institutions in Europe, Middle East and Africa. To leverage this position, Nortal’s board of directors has appointed Harri Koponen as Chief Commercial Officer and new managing director of Nortal in Finland. He is replacing Juha Laakkonen who will leave the company. The change is effective as of February 1, 2017.
Mr. Koponen has extensive experience from the technology sector, having been CEO of major telecoms like Sonera (Finland), Tele2 (Sweden) and Wataniya (Kuwait).
“I am excited about the opportunity to lead Nortal’s business development efforts. Nortal’s focus on delivering end-to-end solutions to global problems by taking full responsibility from strategy to technology is unique. Only last week we signed additional contracts with the state of Oman, to make work licensing and permits processes and service delivery seamless and more transparent” states Koponen.
“We are privileged to have Harri strengthening our team. His personal qualities and wide international network within both industry and government make a strong contribution in sales and business development for all our concepts” comments Priit Alamäe, founder and CEO of Nortal.
“I would also like to thank Juha for his contributions to Nortal the past three years. He has played an instrumental role in making our Finnish company a success” concludes Alamäe.
