Nortal's Andre Krull elected as president of ITL

Andre Krull, a member of the management board at Nortal has been elected as the president of the Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITL).

In his first interview as president of the organization, Krull discussed the three most important topics he and the management team will focus on moving forward. Those topics are smart government, smart economy and smart nation with additional sub-topics under each, including concrete action steps.

Underpinning all the focus areas is the question of the workforce:

“When talking about ICT sector, we can’t get around the question of the workforce. Be it IT-products or digitizing other industries – increasing value added per employee has to be the goal. Without it, improving standard of living in Estonia is simply not possible,” said Andre Krull.

Joining Krull as ITL board members for the next two years: Juhan-Madis Pukk (Flowit), Mart Mäe (Microsoft Eesti), Madis Sassiad (GoSwift), Ivo Lasn (Playtech Estonia), Ivo Suursoo (Columbus Eesti), Seth Lackman (Fujitsu Eesti), Katre Liiberg (Telia Eesti), and Urmas Kõlli (Datel).

Estonian Association of Information Technology and Telecommunications (officially abbreviated as ITL) primary objective is uniting the Estonian information technology and telecommunications companies and organizations, promoting their goals Estonia’s development toward an information society, and representing and protecting the interests of its member companies while expressing their common positions.
