Nortal developer community presents: Working with date/times by Jon Skeet

Nortal HQ, December 16, 2020

Jon Skeet, the Chuck Norris of programming, software engineer for Google, #1 in the Stack Overflow all time rank, author of C# in Depth, gave an exclusive talk for Nortal developers.

Some developers write date/time-sensitive code without worrying about it – but also without thinking about it. Some developers write date/time-sensitive code and worry about it a lot because it’s hard. In this talk Jon provides some guidance to help you write date/time-sensitive code with a reasonable degree of confidence, and test it. We’ll look at the Noda Time project as one tool to make your life easier, but Jon will also explain how you can improve your System.DateTime code too, as well as the corresponding state in Java.

Tune in for the full talk, hosted by Aki Pehkonen, Lead Architect at Nortal, here:
