Top-notch insights into AWS by Nortal and Wolt

Our Head of Cloud Aki Pehkonen, will speak about how containers have become a de facto standard for packaging applications into a single artifact because they can be deployed consistently to multiple environments. In AWS, App Runner is the simplest way of running and deploying container-based web applications because it provides a fully managed, serverless infrastructure. This talk gives an overview of the App Runner’s capabilities and explains why it is an excellent service for anyone who wants to run containers in the cloud!

How is Wolt using AWS?

You might know Wolt from having delicious food delivered to your door. Now you get a chance to have a look under the hood and see how AWS is in the very heart of how Wolt to run their operation.

Rami Keränen and Olli-Petteri Tuuttila, both software engineers at Wolt, and they will talk about which AWS services are the most essential at Wolt and what developer experience looks like from code commit to production deployments.

Aki is our hands-on Head of Cloud helping our clients in their cloud migration journey and adopting modern software development practices. Aki has been working in the IT industry since the early 2000s and holds professional cloud architect certifications for Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud.
