Nortal Germany appoints new CEO, Martin Rebs

Martin Rebs, current Chief Operating Officer in Nortal Germany, will take on the role of Chief Executive Officer for Nortal Germany. Ole Behrens-Carlsson, who has held the position of Chief Executive Officer for Germany, will become Group Chief Growth Officer. Rebs will join and Behrens-Carlsson will continue in the Global Leadership Team. Changes are effective as of August 1, 2024.

Rebs and Behrens-Carlsson both joined the company in 2020 when we acquired Schütze, a recognized strategic consulting and IT solutions company in Germany. Since then, Behrens-Carlsson has led our business in Germany and overseen the company’s global ESG office since 2022. Rebs has focused on operational management, and as of early 2024, he has been strengthening the our consulting practice globally in his role as Group Chief Consulting Officer.

Last year, Nortal Germany increased its total revenue by 40% (HGB) compared to 2022, maintaining an average annual growth rate of over 30% for the past five years.

Behrens-Carlsson will transition to a global role within the company as the new Group Chief Growth Officer, effective August 1, 2024. His primary focus will be developing the global growth strategy as well as overseeing global sales and marketing to accelerate expansion across the company’s key markets in Europe, North America, and the GCC region.

Today we announced our results for the fiscal year 2023, reporting total consolidated revenue of €224.2 million, an increase of 14% compared to 2022. The consolidated operating profit (EBITDA) was €33.3 million.
