Building trust with better services and experience
Improved services and better experiences increase citizen trust in sharing their data with the government. How can government departments more effectively utilize available data to provide better services? And with that create a positive feedback loop where better services encourage citizens to trust and share more of their data?
These were among the key topics discussed at a closed-door roundtable organized by Government Transformation Magazine in collaboration with us.
“It’s often said that Estonia has the edge over the UK when it comes to digital citizenship because of its small population and less skeptical populace. But trust was not inherent. It was earned through delivering high-quality digital services combined with transparency around the state’s use of personal data. There’s no reason why the UK shouldn’t be able to tackle those data silos and create a trusted citizen identity,” said John Cheal, our Government and Public Sector Director in the UK, at the roundtable when bringing an example from Estonia.
