UX Showcase
In spring 2017, Neste was looking for a revolutionary idea to shape the way they manage their highly complicated supply chains and track supplier sustainability and bio compliance. At their hackathon, Nortal presented an idea for how Neste suppliers could create a public profile to prove they are certified, show what they produce and what it’s like to work in their facilities. Think of it as a kind of LinkedIn for bio-oil suppliers. The platform is also linked to supply chain planning tools and a dashboard for a clearly visualized overview.

Neste already has a lot of data of suppliers, but it’s often in the dark, demands a lot of work to dig it up, and supplier information can become obsolete pretty quickly.
What we need is a community of suppliers to provide and update that information for us. A Linkedin for suppliers, if you will.
