Implementation of the „XR-Generator“ at Deutsche Bahn AG

Due to the federal E-Inovice regulation the Deutsche Bahn AG was looking for a professional solution to support its suppliers at the best possible rate in creating e-invoices in the new format XRechnung. Thus, in co-operation with the Nortal AG, a web-based tool to capture, process and generate digital invoices in the new format was provided – the so-called XRechnungsgenerator.

Challenge

Obligatory E-Inovice regulation

Since the 27th of November 2020, the E-Invoice Regulation obliges suppliers and service providers of Deutsche Bahn AG to transmit their invoices as electronic invoices in the format XRechnung. The Nortal AG was short-term commissioned with the support to provide a web-based tool for the purpose of creating XRechnungen for the suppliers of Deutsche Bahn AG.
