Nortalist: Our strength is not computers, it’s our people

by Nortal HQ, December 19, 2017

After 17 years at Nortal, Jari Turunen is happy to be part of a team that creates solutions that make life easier for end users. And the team spirit at the office is great, too!

During his career at Nortal’s Uusikaupunki office, Turunen has done pretty much everything from design to programming. The past few years he’s been working on a software project that helps make a petrol distribution system more efficient and user-friendly.

“There are many details you have to attend to in this project, it’s quite complex, really,” Turunen said in an interview with Duunitori. “The complexity of the project makes it really exiting.”

But that’s not the only exiting thing that keeps Turunen happy at Nortal. “We have such a good vibe at work, and the team works extremely well,” said Turunen, adding that people genuinely want to help each other, both at work and outside the office.

“This means the most to me personally,” he added. “I am sure this encourages and helps everyone to grow. We want our employees to feel good, as Nortal’s strength is not computers, but our people.”

We are hiring! To join Turunen, have a look at our Careers page.
