Now in its seventh year, the Employer of Choice Awards celebrate companies for employer branding and people initiatives. Projects are assessed by an international jury alongside HR professionals from Bulgaria, with the top entries being awarded gold, silver or bronze recognition across 14 categories.
Both awards reflect the environment we aim to create at Nortal: one where people can collaborate, grow, and stay well throughout their careers.
This starts with the workplace itself. The gold medal in the Office and Work Environment category highlights our efforts in this area. Our Sofia office is designed as a place for collaboration, focused work, learning and informal interaction. Together with our flexible ways of working, it gives colleagues the freedom to choose how they work best. Team events, sports activities and volunteering initiatives help strengthen those connections beyond day-to-day work.
Supporting our teams also means looking beyond the workplace. The silver medal in the Benefits and Well-being category reflects our approach to creating the conditions for our people to achieve their full potential. Our benefits and well-being programs combine preventive healthcare, mental health support, wellness and sports initiatives. Colleagues also have access to more than 300 learning paths through our learning platform, a digital library, role-based learning communities, soft skills programs, and tech talks led by Nortal experts.

The awards build on Nortal Bulgaria's success at the Employer of Choice Awards 2023, where we took first place in the Company Benefits - Employee Vote category. This year's recognition acknowledges the broader scope of our workplace efforts.
