Nortal, a global digital transformation company, today announced it has completed the acquisition of the IoT consulting business of iSAX GmbH & Co. KG, based in Dresden, Germany. The acquisition expands Nortal's industrial IoT capabilities, strengthens its position in Germany and the DACH region, and supports the continued expansion of its industrial and manufacturing business across Europe and the Middle East.
As part of the agreement, Nortal takes over iSAX's industrial IoT team, customer relationships, proprietary methods, and tooling, and becomes the preferred integration partner for the weasl platform by Connected Worker Intelligence GmbH (CWI). The acquisition also brings an established portfolio of industrial customers.
"Adding iSAX's IoT expertise and our partnership with CWI expands Nortal's industrial digitalization capabilities into Germany while reinforcing our long-term growth ambitions across the industry and manufacturing sectors in Europe and the Middle East. We warmly welcome the iSAX team and look forward to bringing together our complementary expertise to build on the strong foundations both organizations have created," said Harri Vepsäläinen, President, Enterprise Europe, Nortal.
The acquisition builds on Nortal's more than 25 years of experience delivering digital transformation for industrial and manufacturing companies, such as Neste, Outokumpu, Boliden, Lindström, Valmet, Woikoski and others. The company is known for its expertise in delivering data-driven solutions that improve efficiency, resilience, and operational performance.
"We've built a strong industrial IoT business over many years, and joining Nortal marks an exciting next chapter for our team. Together, we'll combine our expertise and capabilities to deliver even greater value for industrial customers while creating new opportunities for growth," said Heike Vocke, Managing Director of iSAX GmbH & Co. KG.
Operations, project delivery, and customer support will continue without interruption. Nortal Germany becomes the primary point of contact for all existing iSAX customer relationships and the global integration partner for weasl.
