In this season of giving, instead of spending on corporate gifts, Nortal will make a donation to help children in need, and we’re inviting others to join us.
Woolly socks. Hot chocolate. Chestnuts roasting on open fires. That’s right, the holidays are just about here. We at Nortal are all looking forward to spending a peaceful, relaxing Christmas break with family and friends.
In the spirit of the season, we’re also thinking of those who aren’t so fortunate. So this year Nortal will be using the funds we would otherwise spend on corporate Christmas gifts for employees and partners to support the children who are not so fortunate to have rich dinners or receive dream gifts from Santa.
Help @Nortal_AS help others by donating to children in need
”Christmas gifts are great, but their impact doesn’t really last beyond the season. Helping vulnerable children, on the other hand, can have a profound, life-long impact on many people,” explains Nortal’s CEO and founder, Priit Alamäe.
This year, Nortal is donating to the UNICEF Christmas campaign to help Syrian children.
We also encourage others to join us in supporting those in need this Christmas. ”It would be fantastic if we could amplify our efforts by getting a bunch of others on board. Just think how much more of a difference we could make,” enthuses Alamäe.
Nortal’s charity efforts this Christmas season are a continuation of a tradition started a few years ago. For quite some time, Nortal has skipped giving gifts to employees and partners. The causes that Nortal has supported since then have varied. In 2015, Nortal made a contribution to the sustainability of Estonian forests by planting trees. For Christmas 2016, Nortal supported various charity projects in Estonia, Finland, Sweden, Lithuania and Serbia.
Commitment to corporate social responsibility has also earned Nortal a silver level rating from EcoVadis for sustainable supply chains.
